TerraCRG arranges 3,600 s/f lease for Ample Hills Creamery

TerraCRG has leased 3,600 s/f at 305 Nevins St. to Ample Hills Creamery. Ample Hills, which has an existing shop in Prospect Heights, just signed the lease to open their second location in the Gowanus neighborhood. The former ironworks shop, which is located on the corner of Nevins and Union Sts., will now be home to the creamery. The new location will consist of a manufacturing facility, retail ice cream parlor shop with indoor and outdoor seating, and a private party space. Ample Hills will open right next to the highly anticipated, soon to open Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, and just a few blocks from the recently opened Whole Foods on Third St. and Third Ave. The Lightstone Group also has plans to build a 700-unit rental building a couple of blocks away. The property is also down the street from the famous Dinosaur Bar-B-Que and the new boutique hotel Gowanus Inn & Yard, which is expected to be completed in 2015. The ice cream parlor handcrafts their unique flavors with local, all natural ingredients, and is an exciting addition to this rapidly transforming neighborhood. "This is a prime example of new users repositioning old industrial buildings. Ample Hills, Royal Palms, Dino Bar-B-Que, and the Whole Foods are just a few examples of repurposed industrial properties contributing to the rapid changes in the neighborhood," said Dan Marks, vice president of investment sales and leasing at TerraCRG. The deal was completed by TerraCRG's: Ofer Cohen, founder & president; Melissa DiBella, partner & senior vice president; Marks; Peter Matheos, senior associate; and Michael Hernandez, senior associate.
