Tech-driven real estate firm RealDirect.com reveals new feature - RealBargain tool

RealDirect.com, one of the first and only tech-driven real estate brokerage firm of its kind bridging the gap between DIY buyers and sellers and a traditional brokerage, has unveiled its RealBargain tool. A newly created feature that informs buyers if a particular listing presents a great value compared to similar homes on the market. To help their clients find homes that offer the best value in today's market, RealDirect.com incorporated an algorithm devised to highlight homes that are priced particularly aggressively, specifically those homes that have a total cost per foot that is significantly lower than comparable homes. "Real estate bargains can be hard to find, especially in today's market. In our goal of creating a pioneering site that simplifies buying and selling in N.Y.C., RealDirect.com has created an easy way for clients find a home meeting their criteria, while staying within their budget," said Doug Perlson, co-founder and CEO of RealDirect.com. In order for a listing to be considered a RealBargain, RealDirect.com established certain criteria for listings to be analyzed, making sure that it is always an apples to apples comparison. A low price does not always mean a good value; RealDirect.com searches for listings that present the best value while also including qualities that typical buyers require, such as being bright, renovated, has common amenities such as a doorman and elevator and an average maintenance fee. RealDirect.com keeps the RealBargain tool fresh and up to date with the city's latest bargains by scanning through their database of listings every day. The RealBargain feature is the latest tool RealDirect.com has unveiled in their ongoing effort to help buyers pinpoint their ideal homes easier and faster. Last year, RealDirect.com launched a new map-based interface and search tools. These tools make their alternative model even more efficient for users with (1) industry-first compatibility rankings, (2) a lasso tool and (3) a more tailored search criteria. Each tool is designed to provide a more personalized, instinctive way to search for homes and analyze the market. Currently operating in Brooklyn and Manhattan, RealDirect.com is the first and only New York City real estate firm to combine local real estate expertise with a powerful web-based listing management and marketing platform. Sellers have access to a dashboard of real time web analytics and data to track and manage the marketing, sales and advertising of their homes with as much or as little help needed from a real estate professional. Sellers can choose an "Owner-Managed" option for either a monthly fee of $395 or a 1 percent commission at closing, or an "Agent-Managed" structure in which a RealDirect.com agent manages the entire process for a 2 percent commission to RealDirect.com. Clients decide what the commission will be for the buyer's brokers. RealDirect.com for buyers offers resources and access to RealDirect.com's expert real estate agents. Buyers have the opportunity to earn a 1 percent rebate check on the sale price of a home at closing. RealDirect.com provides prospective buyers with two-tiered guidance in managing their apartment search, including a unique Buyer Profile that helps clients better understand their living needs.
