One accomplishment I am most proud of at SKG Capital is navigating a challenging capital and operating environment while continuing to stabilize and strengthen our portfolio.

The completion of 815 Bdwy., La Maison Collette, in Greenwich Village stands out as a particularly meaningful accomplishment. Excavation commenced on February 10, 2025, and by February 6, 2026, the project had progressed to Temporary Certificate of Occupancy
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have? I entered the industry during COVID, when office buildings were at historic vacancies. I renegotiated 50% of my portfolio’s leases and brought occupancy to 100%. What made that period invaluable was the sheer volume — short-term deals, small spaces, high turnover.

It is the career I have managed to build in spite of every reason not to. I entered New York City commercial real estate
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? My team arranged $525 million in construction financing in 2025 for the development of Court LIC — a 55-story condominium tower with 600 new residences and expansive amenities to be built in the center of Long Island City’s Court Square.
What is one major challenge you’ve overcome as a leader, and what did it teach you? Real estate is inherently cyclical, and my clients – developers, investors, lenders, and operators – often have personal wealth deeply intertwined with their projects. That reality demands more than technical legal skill; it requires genuine partnership.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? I’m most proud of stepping into a newly established leadership role at TerraCRG and helping shape the firm’s sales operations function during a key growth phase.

I’m especially proud of helping advance projects such as Ruby Square and Archer Towers II, which together will deliver over 1,000 mixed-income and affordable homes in Jamaica, Queens.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? As leader of Nutter’s NYC land use group, I oversaw the sale of a global energy company’s multi-acre parcel on a tight three-month timeline.
What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? One initiative I’m most proud of is building out our air rights platform at BKREA. When I started, there wasn’t a clear, centralized approach to tracking or marketing these opportunities.

One recent accomplishment I’m especially proud of is the groundbreaking of East Shore Road Multi-Family in Great Neck. We first began designing the project in 2020, and it’s especially rewarding to see that early vision now moving into construction.
What is one major challenge you’ve overcome as a leader, and what did it teach you? One major challenge I faced as a leader recently was guiding a team through a project that was losing momentum. Morale was low, communication had broken down, and trust needed rebuilding.
