Syska Hennessy promotes Oertel, Subocz and Zhang

New York, NY Syska Hennessy Group, the international engineering firm, has named three professionals in its local office as associate partners.  

The new associate partners are:

  • Christopher Oertel, PE, ATD, LEED AP BD+C, a project manager who focuses on the design and management of MEP systems.  
  • Barry Subocz, RCDD, a senior data center design/engineering specialist with over 20 years of experience.  
  • Jian Zhang, who has 23 years of experience in managing and coordinating the design of plumbing and fire protection systems, HVAC, and life safety systems, with a focus on healthcare.  

“Each of these professionals consistently demonstrates high levels of expertise, a strong work ethic, and collegiality,” said Cyrus Izzo, co-president.  

“They’re also positioning us for future success,” said co-president Gary Brennen.  “We look forward to working with them for many more years.”
