Sunrise Management & Consulting and Associated Real Estate Services establishes the GROW Initiative

The GROW Initiative, a new not-for-profit venture, has been established by executives of Sunrise Management & Consulting and Associated Real Estate Services to provide technical assistance to municipalities and property owners to enhance economic development through improved real estate operations. The purpose of the not-for-profit is to assist in the economic stabilization and growth of municipalities throughout the United States. "We are excited to announce the formation of The GROW Initiative to fund guidance and training for property owners," said Jesse Holland, founding director of The GROW Initiative. "Well-managed residential, retail and commercial properties are critical to a municipality's economic growth and stability." The new not-for-profit corporation will solicit grants and be the conduit to move grant funds to participating municipalities in the form of training for local property owners. The program aims to provide guidance and training to owners of multifamily residential, commercial and retail properties. The GROW Initiative is the outgrowth of a pilot program launched in 2009 to assist and train investment property owners in the City of Schenectady, N.Y. The GROW Schenectady Initiative was designed to improve the quality of life in Schenectady neighborhoods by helping investment property owners become more responsible landlords through professional guidance, education and training. "Cities across the nation are dealing with problems of the upkeep of multifamily residential properties, which have important impact on the quality of urban neighborhoods," said Brian Stratton, mayor, Schenectady, N.Y. "This program is designed to help investment property owners become more responsible landlords through professional guidance, education and training." Dedicated to stabilizing and improving the economic health of our cities through improved real estate operations, The GROW Initiative is headquartered in Albany. Sunrise Management & Consulting AMO is an innovative third party property management company providing property management services, market research, and consulting to property owners, investors and home owner associations throughout the United States.
