Sterling American Prop. sells Arbors at Windsor Lake to Cottonwood
Sterling American Property Inc. has sold Arbors at Windsor Lake, a two-story, 228-unit apartment complex. Located at 8720 Windsor Lake Blvd., the property was purchased by Cottonwood Realty. Mel Mayers, senior vice president of Sterling American Property, handled negotiations during the transaction.
Sterling originally purchased the property in 2004 as part of the SAP IV Fund. Immediately after the acquisition, the firm invested in a number of major capital improvements and upgrades, including the installation of new roofs and the renovation of the clubhouse with the addition of a fitness center and Internet café.
The Arbors at Windsor Lake offers residents many amenities, including a large pool, tennis courts and a private community clubhouse.
