Soft Swerve opens at Tishman Speyer’s JACX&CO

Long Island City, NY Tishman Speyer said that Soft Swerve has opened at JACX&CO, a collection of culinary concepts on the plaza level of the JACX creative office campus in Queens.

Soft Swerve, a New York-based ice cream brand established by best friends and co-owners Jason Liu and Michael Tsang, serves its signature soft serve, hand scooped ice cream, milkshakes, pints, and more in such culturally inspired flavors as matcha, black sesame, ube, and Thai tea. Its JACX&CO shop is its sixth location in New York and first in Long Island City.

Located at 28-17 Jackson Ave., JACX&CO features a unique lineup of vendors offering a wide array of cuisines.  Notable names include Ace’s Pizza, Alidoro, Bobwhite, Mexology, Sushi Nikko, Taim, and The Bar.

“We’ve wanted to be a part of the culturally rich community of Long Island City for some time now and couldn’t have asked for a better fit for our brand than in the beautiful space located inside JACX&CO food hall,” said Tsang.  “We look forward to serving the neighborhood!”

“We are delighted to welcome Soft Swerve to the innovative lineup of food and beverage purveyors we have assembled at JACX&CO,” said Tishman Speyer senior director Reed Zukerman. “The culinary experiences we’ve curated at JACX&CO have positioned it as Long Island City’s most exciting dining, bar and events destination.”

Serving both office employees and the surrounding residential community, JACX&CO offers in-person dining options as well as online ordering for takeout and delivery. The food hall is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Sunday through Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Developed by Tishman Speyer in 2019, the JACX offers customers of the 1.2 million s/f office destination designed workspaces and outdoor space including a one-acre park and rooftop terrace. Designed by MdeAS, the JACX encompasses two identical towers featuring a palette of glass and terra-cotta juxtaposed with elements of concrete. The JACX has over 50,000 s/f of retail space at street level, including a boutique fitness center, a restaurant, and a gourmet market, in addition to JACX&CO.

Located atop one of the city’s major transit centers, the JACX offers connectivity and easy access from across the city and region.
