Prospect Ridge appoints Mestel as managing director and co-head of credit strategies

Manhattan, NY Prospect Ridge appointed Michael Mestel as managing director and co-head of the firm’s credit strategies platform. Mestel will lead the credit business alongside Robb Milne, who has played a pivotal role in scaling Prospect Ridge’s equity and credit capabilities since the platform’s inception.

Mestel brings more than two decades of commercial real estate investment experience across origination, structuring, and asset management. He most recently served as managing director and co-head of H.I.G. Real Estate Credit, U.S., where he was responsible for all aspects of credit investing nationwide. His prior roles include senior positions at Affinius Capital (formerly Square Mile Capital), Citigroup, and Rialto Capital Management.
