Washington D.C., Members of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) New York City Chapter recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers and advocate for the real estate industry. IREM NYC chapter president Jessica Tusing, CPM and Avery Feldman, CPM, chair of IREM NYC’s legislative committee, along with Ted Thurn, senior director, government affairs at IREM’s headquarters, spent two days meeting with congressional staff to discuss important issues facing the real estate industry in New York City.
