New York, NY After two successful years, Open Access, an independent 501(c)3 aimed at increasing diversity, equity & inclusion in community development finance, an industry that serves many Black and Latinx communities but remains grossly underrepresented by diverse professionals, is expanding its reach in terms of career focus, geography, and sponsorships as it launches its third annual program.

United Federation of Teachers to relocate Bronx office to Co-op City

Bronx, NY JLL arranged the United Federation of Teachers (UFT) lease of 45,000 s/f office space at 2100 Bartow Ave., a four-story office building in the Co-op City area. The UFT, which represents nearly 200,000 active and retired teachers and other professionals, will relocate its Bronx office from 2500 Halsey Ave. to occupy a portion of the fourth floor of the building, which was developed by Prestige Properties as part of the two-million-square-feet mixed-use Bay Plaza development.
