Rudes joins Vortex Group

Jonathan Rudes,
Vortex Group

Manhattan, NY The Vortex Group has hired Jonathan Rudes. Rudes was most recently head of Cresa’s law firm practice group. Rudes joins tenant representative Rick Marek, president and founder of Vortex, known for his work advising law firms and financial companies with their office space. Marek began his career with Julien Studley, Inc. where he started their law firm focus.

“Rick is a long-time friend and one of the best brokers in New York,” said Rudes. “His experience and expertise working with law firms will allow me to continue my focus on helping attorneys deal with the issues and challenges they are facing today. It is an exciting time for law firms as they address new technologies, changing values of new generations of attorneys and more competition. This is compelling every firm to change how they do business, which consequently affects their office space requirements.”

According to Marek, “Jon is a terrific resource for Vortex and I am pleased for many reasons that he decided to join us. Our collaborative approach and new, advanced technology will allow us to further our mission of providing outstanding personal service to tenants.”

In addition to Rudes, Vortex welcomes communications executive Greg Davis who has decided to focus his experience and relationships to lead an advertising industry focus for the boutique real estate firm. His 35 years of experience in driving new client expansion for many leaders in this sector, coupled with his understanding of today’s complex marketing landscape, enables Davis and The Vortex Group to play an integral role as a real estate advisor for today’s evolving, digitally-centric marketing communications and technology universe.

“With Rudes, Davis, our eight brokers, financial consultants and a true collaborative environment, we offer a level of service that can only be provided by a well-coordinated and focused team of brokers,” said Marek. “We look forward to continuing our first class work for tenants, and thank our supportive customers for 15 years of loyalty.”
