Rose joins TEI as VP of modernization and construction

New York, NY According to TEI Group, John Rose has joined the TEI team as the VP of modernization and construction.

“It is very exciting to find a perfect match for an extremely complex position. More exciting is the fact that just about every trusted source I have developed during my 38 years in the industry have praised John Rose as the perfect fit for TEI Group. Clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and even competitors endorse the synergies that will come out of this joining,” said president of TEI Group Mark Gregorio.

Rose has 14 years of experience in the elevator industry, the majority of which were spent at TKE where he held various project management and field supervisor positions, spending the past 6 years as the construction operations manager for NYC. During his tenure, his team executed several high-profile projects, such as NYU Kimmel Hospital, 425 Park Ave., Queens Park Plaza, and 50 Hudson Yards.

“My time in the industry has been quite the privilege. I’ve been privileged to have some of the best mentors in the business, privileged to lead a group of loyal and hardworking office/field staff, and privileged to be a part of projects that not only reshaped the New York City skyline but reshaped our industry,” said Rose.

Rose is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a B.S. in Finance from the Stillman School of Business.

Rose will be stepping into the role previously held by Kevin Lynch, an elevator construction powerhouse with 44 years of industry experience. As Lynch enters retirement, TEI Group wishes him well and thanks him for his great contributions to modernization and construction. His legacy lives on, and TEI Group is forever grateful for this chapter and the next.
