Racanelli Construction named general contractor for construction of $17.8 million Hilton Garden Inn in Port Washington

Port Washington, NY Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. has been selected as the general contractor for the construction of a new Hilton Garden Inn on Long Island. The project was awarded By Roslyn O-S Hotel Partners, LLC. The new Hilton Garden Inn will be located at 3 Harbor Park Dr. Racanelli will build a new 165-room hotel with indoor pool and spa, fitness center, two outdoor courtyards including a built-in stone fire pit. Provided on the hotel’s ground floor will be: four meeting rooms, including a board room, as well as an outdoor patio. In its role as general contractor, Racanelli will handle all site excavation, structural steel, wood framing, poured slab foundations, and oversight of all trades, including plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), elevator, masonry and fire suppression work. Completion of the project, valued at approximately $17.8 million, is scheduled for January 2017. In 2012, Racanelli Construction completed a Hilton Garden Hotel in Plainview, NY.
