O'Brien of M. C. O'Brien secures lease for Verizon NY in Floral Park
Michael O'Brien, III, SIOR, CEO of M. C. O'Brien, Inc. has recently completed a lease of the former Hustedt Chevrolet Dealership at 383 Jericho Tpke. The building is comprised of 16,000 s/f on a 25,000 s/f plot and was previously used as a showroom and service building for the auto dealership. In addition to the main facility, an additional lot of 6,630 s/f was also included in the transaction.
The new tenant is Verizon New York, Inc. The lease of the property will allow them to operate a sales and service center for their 100% fiber optic data transmission service. Verizon will consolidate some distribution routes at this location.
O'Brien exclusively represented the owner and was the sole broker. The transaction had an aggregate value of approximately $2 million. Ariana Martuscello, transaction manager with Cushman & Wakefield, acted as a consultant for Verizon.
