Luskoff Esq. joins First Nationwide Title Agency as senior underwriting counsel

According to First Nationwide Title Agency (FNTA), Allison Luskoff, Esq. has joined the agency as senior underwriting counsel responsible for analyzing, overseeing and resolving all title issues relating to clients' commercial real estate transactions. Her title is senior vice president and senior underwriting counsel. Prior to joining FNTA, Luskoff was a senior associate at the law firm Jaspan Schlesinger, LLP. In such capacity, she represented builders, developers, entities, individuals, estates and not-for-profit organizations in acquisitions, financings, sales and triple net lease transactions. Luskoff also worked on complex commercial litigation matters involving title defects. Prior to joining Jaspan, Luskoff was underwriting counsel with First American Title Insurance Company where she underwrote a plethora of major commercial and residential real estate transactions, involving purchases, refinances, triple net leases, transfer of development rights, Attorney General packages, condominium formation, acquisition loans, project loans, construction loans and modifications, mechanics liens, life estates, partner disputes and title defects among a host of other issues affecting real property all over New York State. "With more than a decade of experience in the commercial real estate/title insurance industry, Allison has dealt with just about every conceivable issue that can and does arise in the process of conveying property from one owner to another," said Steven Napolitano, president and CEO of FNTA. "She is a talented, consummate professional, exceedingly knowledgeable about every aspect of the commercial real estate transactional process and I am thrilled to welcome her as a member of our team." Luskoff earned a BA degree from Brooklyn College and a J.D. from New York Law School, graduating Cum Laude in 2001 and started the practice of law as an Associate at the prominent New York based law firm Duval & Stachenfeld, LLP. She was on the board of directors of the Nassau County Women's Bar Association from 2005 - 2007 and her public speaking engagements, all during 2011, included appearing before the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association. Luskoff is currently a member of the New York State Land Title Association Law Committee.
