Rose Associates hires Joachim as a commercial leasing associate

Rose Associates, the New York-based full-service real estate firm, has hired Louis Joachim, II as a commercial leasing associate. Joachim will be responsible for the leasing, management and long-term development of the commercial component of Rose-owned and Rose-managed properties. Joachim joins Rose from SKH Realty where he acted as a senior associate. "Louis has a strong, well-rounded skill set in retail leasing and I look forward to having him on our team," said Bruce Spiegel, senior managing director at Rose. "His talents will be applied to our varied portfolio, which consists of street-level retail, professional office space and garages." Joachim, 31, started his career in commercial leasing in Miami, FL. He joined SKH Realty in 2010 as a Retail Associate. While at SKH, he was responsible for placing retail tenants, identifying locations for national and international retailers, and developing relationships with owners of commercial properties. He also managed leasing of retail space in the hospitality and restaurant categories, working with Wyndham Worldwide, Thompson Hotel Group, Magna Hospitality, and Roberto Cavalli Restaurants, among others. At Rose, Joachim will assist Spiegel with the execution of Rose's commercial retail strategy. He will also work with Rose's Technical Services Group on retail construction and other capital projects related to commercial space. A resident of Manhattan, Joachim is a graduate of the University of Miami and Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business.
