Lloyd named COO at Trinity Real Estate

The Rev. Dr. James Cooper, rector of Trinity Church and Carl Weisbrod, president of Trinity's real estate division have named Emily Lloyd as COO of Trinity Real Estate effective Dec. 1. Lloyd has served as NYC commissioner of environmental protection in the Bloomberg administration since 2005. She is currently a member of Trinity's vestry, where she has served since 2003. Lloyd will be charged with managing the internal business operations of the portfolio with direct oversight of leasing, administration, business planning, property management and design and construction and will report to Weisbrod.
Lloyd is a graduate of Wellesley College and holds a masters of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. She also received a Loeb Fellowship in Environmental Studies from Harvard University.

Located at the head of Wall Street, Trinity Church has been part of New York City's and our nation's history since its charter in 1697. Today, the organization has grown to include many important areas of focus and is collectively known as Trinity Wall St. Most importantly, Trinity Wall St. is an Episcopal parish offering daily worship services and faith formation programs at Trinity Church, St. Paul's Chapel, and online at trinitywallstreet.org. In addition, Trinity Wall Street includes Trinity Grants, providing $72 million in funding to 85 countries since 1972; John Heuss House, a twenty-four hour drop-in shelter; St. Margaret's House, providing subsidized housing to the elderly; Trinity Preschool; Trinity Institute, an annual theological conference; an extensive arts program presenting more than 100 concerts each year through Concerts @ One, the Trinity Choir, and the Trinity Choristers; and Trinity Real Estate, which manages the parish's six million s/f of commercial real estate in lower Manhattan.
