L+M names Shoaib to head structural engineering division

New York, NY Lawless + Mangione Architects and Engineers is enhancing L+M Structural with the hiring of Syed Shoaib, PE as the head of the firm’s structural engineering division. 

With a career spanning over 20 years, his range of experience encompasses a broad array of services. Shoaib plans to strengthen the firm’s structural engineering capabilities, build on the group’s professionalism, and introduce a variety of new services.

His addition will enable L+M to help building owners and managers respond to recent OSHA requirements. The services will include the testing and certification of roof anchors, the safety evaluation of fire escapes, mandatory parking structure evaluations, and retaining wall evaluations. Shoaib will be supported by an expanded team of new and current professionals.

Shoaib’s experience in the design and construction industries include structure analysis and design, project management, quality assurance, project estimation and planning, condition assessment, forensic evaluation, pre and post occupancy inspections and pre and post failure analysis etc.
