Kinsler and Walker of Tishman Speyer sign Withers to 33,000 s/f at 30 Rockefeller Plaza

Manhattan, NY Tishman Speyer said that international law firm Withers has signed a 33,000 s/f lease at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, becoming the latest global firm moving its New York headquarters to the tower’s 54th floor.

In leasing the new space, Withers was represented by Cynthia Wasserberger, Michael Berg, Bobby Blair and Sofia Bruno of JLL. Tishman Speyer was represented in-house by Blythe Kinsler and Kate Walker.

Founded in 1896 in London, Withers is a global, full-service international law firm recognized for its expertise in private client, tax, trust, and estate planning advice, as well as corporate, litigation, and advisory work. With offices across the U.S., Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Caribbean, Withers serves a client base spanning dozens of countries and is regularly ranked as a leading firm in its core practice areas.

Completed in 1933 and designed by Rockefeller Center’s lead architect Raymond Hood, 30 Rockefeller Plaza is a 70-story, Art Deco landmark at Rockefeller Center.

Conceived as part of a campus designed to support business and innovation, the tower has been thoughtfully modernized to meet the needs of today’s most forward-thinking customers while preserving its architectural and cultural significance. As one of the world’s most recognizable office addresses, 30 Rock offers unparalleled presence and gravitas at the heart of the iconic campus, overlooking The Rink and alongside NBC Studios. The building is marked by Lee Lawrie’s iconic Wisdom sculpture above the main entrance and José María Sert’s monumental American Progress mural spanning the lobby. The three-level Top of the Rock observation deck crowns the tower, offering sweeping, unobstructed views of the New York City skyline.

Withers’ team will have full access to Tishman Speyer’s global amenity program, ZO, which offers global access to high end lounge and work spaces, wellness services, and experiences at Tishman Speyer properties around the world. At Rockefeller Center, ZO amenities include exclusive pricing on attractions such as The Rink, The Beam, and Skylift; and perks at retailers such as J. Crew and Rough Trade, as well as dining options including Smith & Mills and Daily Provisions. Customers also enjoy access to the ZO Clubhouse on the 33rd floor of 1 Rockefeller Plaza as well as Radio Park, which has become a favorite destination to relax, collaborate, and socialize.

“We are excited to be relocating our New York team to Rockefeller Plaza,” said David Guin, managing director of Withers’ New York office. “Following an extensive search for suitable new office facilities, and with the valuable help of the Jones Lang LaSalle team, we have concluded that 30 Rock has the space, the services and above all the impressive location, to make it right for our high caliber clients and our New York practice. We look forward to welcoming clients to our new home!”

“Withers’ decision to locate at 30 Rockefeller Plaza underscores the enduring value of Rockefeller Center as a destination for leading professional services firms,” said EB Kelly, senior managing director at Tishman Speyer and head of Rockefeller Center. “The campus brings together world-class businesses, culture, and amenities in a dynamic setting designed to support collaboration, client engagement, and long-term success. We are pleased to welcome Withers to 30 Rock and the Rockefeller Center community.”

Rockefeller Center is a global icon, built nearly a century ago as a “city within the city.” Today, under the stewardship of owner and operator Tishman Speyer, its collection of art deco buildings surrounding the world-renowned plaza and Rink together comprise the city’s most dynamic destination to work, play, dine, and shop.
