Keller Williams Comm'l. forms nationally; Frankel and West join CLC board
Keller Williams Realty has formed a commercial division with national coverage. Mark Willis, CEO of Keller Williams Realty International, named Buddy Norman as president of the new division. Previously, Norman was with The Staubach Co. in their Texas and southern California regions. He will lead the commercial efforts from Keller Williams' Austin, Tex. headquarters.
Also, Charles Frankel and Peter West have been named to the national Commercial Leadership Council (CLC) of the new division. This board is comprised of the top 25 people within Keller Williams who are involved in commercial activities. Norman said, "We are very pleased to have Chuck and Peter join us in a leadership and visionary capacity. Their experience and extensive knowledge of commercial real estate will be very beneficial."
The council has the responsibility to develop policies and procedures, training, technology, marketing materials, and recruiting. Commercial Keller Williams brokers from N.Y., Tex., Calif., Wash., Colorado, Minn., Mich., Maryland, Georgia, Fla., Mass., Penn., North Carolina, Ariz., Indiana, Illinois, and Toronto, Can. met in Austin, Tex. at their first CLC meeting.
They listened to presentations from Gary Keller, founder and chairman of Keller Williams, Mark Willis, CEO, and Mary Tennant, president and COO, plus Norman and focused their discussion on formation, communication, technology, education, and professionalism.
Frankel will co-chair the education committee. West will chair the technology committee.
