Kaufman in-house reps SL Green in 48,713 s/f lease to Landmark Worldwide

Manhattan, NY According to SL Green Realty Corp., Landmark Worldwide LLC signed a 15-year lease covering 48,713 s/f for the entire concourse level 315 West 33rd St. a/k/a The Olivia. “We are delighted that Landmark will retain its NYC headquarters at The Olivia,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green.  “Landmark has been a valued tenant since the date the building was constructed in 2000.”

Dan Gronich and Robert Shapiro of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Landmark, while David Kaufman acted on behalf of SL Green in-house.

Situated between 33rd and 34th Streets and Eighth and Ninth Aves., the Olivia is a mixed-use, 36-story residential/commercial tower whose other commercial tenants include the AMC Lowes Movie Theatre and Music Choice.

SL Green, an S&P 500 company and New York City's largest office landlord, is a fully integrated real estate investment trust, or REIT, that is focused primarily on acquiring, managing and maximizing value of Manhattan commercial properties. As of September 30, the company held interests in 125 Manhattan buildings totaling 46.6 million square feet. This included ownership interests in 28.1 million square feet of commercial buildings and debt and preferred equity investments secured by 18.6 million square feet of buildings. In addition, the Company held ownership interests in 30 suburban buildings totaling 4.8 million square feet in Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester County, Connecticut and New Jersey.
