Saint Petersburg Global Trade House, the oldest Russian book, music, video, toy and souvenir company in the U.S., has signed a lease for their first Manhattan location at 261 Fifth Avenue, between 28th and 29th Sts. in Manhattan's neighborhood, NoMad.
Winick Realty Group's Tatiana Jung and Richard Smith represented the retailer, who signed a 10-year lease at the storefront, which includes 1,051 s/f on the ground floor, along with a 653 s/f mezzanine. The landlord, an entity owned and managed under a partnership controlled by The Feil Organization, was represented in-house.
In business since 1998, Saint Petersburg Global Trade House operates three retail locations in Brooklyn, where company owner Natalia Orlova received a citation from the Brooklyn borough president.
Like their other locations, the company's first Manhattan store will sell authentic Russian products ranging from high-end jewelry to silk clothing, porcelain dinnerware, Faberge eggs and more. Cultural events and evenings with Russian music stars and writers are also planned.
