Greenstone Realty finalizes 18,000 s/f lease at Rivertowns Sq. to Brooklyn Market

Dobbs Ferry, NY According to Greenstone Realty, the exclusive leasing agent for Rivertowns Sq.in Westchester County, it has finalized a lease with Brooklyn Market of Williamsburg Brooklyn. Brooklyn Market has filed for building permits and plans to open a new 18,000 s/f store by the end of 2017.

Brooklyn Market is a full-service purveyor of meats, seafood, prepared foods and produce in addition to groceries. Brooklyn Market was a pioneer in Williamsburg and has built its reputation for fresh prepared foods, produce and customer service.  The market will include a full butcher, seafood and gourmet counters with specialties from their Brooklyn and on-premises kitchens. Brooklyn Market will also offer a full selection of gluten-free products.

“We had the opportunity to choose from several supermarkets and gourmet food stores to join the other great tenants at Rivertowns Square, but we chose Brooklyn Market because they consistently demonstrated their ability to deliver quality at every turn and provide customers with incredible service in all of their eight locations,” said Martin Berger, managing member of Saber Dobbs Ferry and the center’s owner/developer. “Yes, there are other markets that have produce and products almost as fresh as Brooklyn Market, but none with the level of service the founders of Brooklyn Market demand.”

Rivertowns Sq. is a new mixed-use development at the Lawrence St. exit of the Saw Mill River Pwy. (exit 16). It serves the Rivertowns situated on the New York side of the Hudson River, and caters to the entire western-half of Westchester County.  Rivertowns Sq. is 85% leased.

“With the growth of e-commerce, Rivertowns Square is exactly what retail shopping centers will try to be in the future – driven by great food, great entertainment and great hospitality.  We have the perfect anchors with iPic Cinema and their City Perch restaurant, Hilton’s Garden Inn hotel – and now the incredible Brooklyn Market,” said Robert Greenstone, Chairman of Greenstone Realty, leasing agent for Rivertowns Square.

In addition to Harvest Market, Rivertowns Square includes the country’s newest and most innovative iPic Theater and City Perch restaurant at iPic Theaters, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Chop’t Creative Salads and Ulta Beauty & Cosmetics plus a new Hilton Hotel anticipated to open by year’s end.   More than a dozen new stores and restaurants are currently under construction, and The Danforth luxury residences will be ready for occupancy soon.
