Goldberg of J. Tucci Construction appointed to AREW board

According to J. Tucci Construction Corp., Gail Goldberg, VP, was appointed to the Association of Real Estate Women (AREW) board of directors as sponsorship co-chair. Goldberg has been a member of AREW for five years. As sponsorship co-chair, she is responsible for finding sponsors to underwrite AREW's monthly luncheon programs and networking receptions. The committee is also responsible for all communication with the sponsors and the dissemination of sponsorship info within AREW. Lucy Carter, director of marketing & business development, Ted Moudis and Kimberly Dowdell, public relations specialist, HOK, serve alongside Goldberg as sponsorship co-chairs. "As the foremost organization for women real estate professionals in New York City, AREW has always attracted the best and brightest," said Debra Cole, president, AREW. "Gail certainly fits that profile. She has the vision, energy and expertise to make an exceptional contribution as a co-chair of sponsorship and AREW board member." In her role as VP of J. Tucci, Goldberg works to create and implement strategies to enhance J. Tucci's growth, expansion and brand. To that end, she builds relationships with new and existing clients and identifies new business opportunities. She leads clients in developing and maintaining relationships with J. Tucci while providing resources to help clients meet their goals in the construction industry. She now leads the overhaul of the company's marketing approach, which includes both redefining and expanding the corporate brand, as well as broad-based corporate social responsibility and sustainability programs. For over 25 years, Goldberg was principal and co-manager of Gale Woodworking, Inc. Goldberg is the former founder and president of Launch Solutions, Inc. Her expertise in strategic and tactical change management, business development and marketing has helped clients transform challenges into opportunities to successfully change and grow their organizations. Goldberg graduated cum laude from Boston University and holds a Masters of Arts degree in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is active on the CoreNet- NYC Chapter Learning Committee and sits on the advisory Bboard and the membership committee of the Greater New York Construction User Council. An active participant in the NY Building Congress, she is involved in both the Communications Committee and the Environment Committee. A new member of ICSC, she recently joined the 2010 NYC ICSC Planning Committee and will be working on two sub-committees Goldberg also belongs to the Society for Marketing Professional Services.
