G.H. Bass leases 5,486 s/f at Destiny USA

G.H. Bass, an iconic American lifestyle brand, led by its rich heritage and tradition in footwear, is now open on the second level of Destiny USA. The outlet store is located between GUESS and Beauty Plus Salon Too. Established in 1876 by George Henry Bass of Wilton, Maine, G.H. Bass & Co. began with a man on a simple mission - "to make the very best handcrafted shoe." Since its inception, Bass's reputation for quality, comfort and durability have paved the way for defining moments in American history. As the official aviation boot of the U.S. Army in World War I, to Charles A. Lindbergh's choice for the first solo transatlantic flight from NY to Paris, to outfitting pop culture icons, Bass remains the #1 choice for adventurers and American heroes. "As our outlet offering continues to expand, we're always looking to add unique concepts to enhance the guest experience," said Rob Schoeneck, general manager of Destiny USA. "G.H. Bass is a well-known brand with a niche offering that we are excited to welcome." Jody Gietl, president of G.H. Bass, said, "We are thrilled to launch this next chapter in Bass history together with Destiny USA. We look forward to bringing classic American style to this new audience through our timeless assortment of Men's and Women's footwear, apparel and accessories. Almost 140 years later, Bass continues to find new ways to combine the classic with the contemporary, proving that a true original is always in demand." G.H. Bass takes 5,486 s/f in the facility's expansion.
