The Icon Companies honored with 2014 CoStar Power Broker Award; One of the top leasing and sales firms in the market

The Icon Companies has been selected by CoStar Group, Inc. (CSGP), one of the leading providers of commercial real estate information, analytics and online marketplaces, to receive a CoStar Power Broker Award. This annual award recognizes the "best of the best" in commercial real estate brokerage by highlighting the firms and individual brokers who closed the highest transaction volumes in commercial property sales or leases in 2014 within their respective markets. The Icon Companies qualified as one of the top commercial brokerage firms in Syracuse, based on total leasing and sale transactions closed during the year. Icon's accomplishments for the year included brokering the number one ranked lease transaction in terms of value for 2014. The firm's transactions included the sale of two significant downtown Syracuse properties, the 246,880 s/f Sibley's Building at 400 S Salina St. and the former Excellus Building, a 213,498 s/f office building at 344 S Warren St. Overall, Icon was responsible for 3 of the top 20 largest lease transactions in the Syracuse market. Icon had 3 of the top 30 ranked agents in the market for leasing transactions, and Grazi Zazzara, president, finished 2014 ranked as one of the top brokers for both lease and sales volume in the Syracuse market.
