Fowler joins CBRE Capital Markets as first vice president

Manhattan, NY According to CBRE, David Fowler has joined CBRE Capital Markets as a first vice president. Based in the firm’s Midtown office, Fowler will enhance and expand the firm’s presence in the office investment advisory and joint venture equity transactions space in the New York metro area.

Fowler has been involved in more than 100 transactions with a value in excess of $6 billion. He will be joining the team led byDarcy Stacom  and William Shanahan along with other team members Eric Negrin, Ryan Spector and Carl Shorett.

“David’s tremendous knowledge of commercial real estate in the New York metro area, combined with his outstanding relationships, will play a key role in our continued growth as the number one office investment sales team. David has made his mark on this market and comes with a stellar track record of exceeding the expectations of clients,” said  Stacom, chairman and head, New York City Capital Markets, CBRE.

Fowler joins CBRE from HFF where he formed the investment sales office team in 2015 served as a senior director focused on commercial real estate financing, joint venture equity and investment advisory transactions. During his tenure with HFF, he arranged numerous high-profile transactions including the sale of 60 Wall Street valued at $1.04 billion, as well as 5 Bryant Park ($640 million), 1407 Broadway ($330 million), 370 Lexington ($247 million) and 1140 Avenue of the Americas ($180 million).

Prior to joining HFF in 2012, Fowler was a senior associate at Massey Knakal Realty Services in New York City where he focused on Lower Manhattan investment sales.
 
Fowler earned a bachelor’s degree from the George Washington University. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of New York. He is actively involved in the Cornelia de Lang Syndrome Foundation and the Robin Hood Foundation.
