New York, NY The CoreNet Global New York City chapter (CoreNet NYC) hosted their annual meeting on June 28th at Rockefeller Group’s retail concourse, the “Underground” at 1221 Avenue of the Americas. During the gathering, the chapter honored outstanding volunteers in the following categories: Service Provider of the Year, Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year and Young Leader of the Year as well as the Commercial Interior Projects of the Year, separated into three categories including Under 75,000 s/f, 75,000 to 150,000 s/f and Over 150,000 s/f.
Laurie Hutner, executive VP of WB Wood, accepted the award for Service Provider of the Year. Daniel Fishbein, director of global real estate at CIT Group, was named Corporate Executive of the Year, and Chris Kelly, president of Convene, was awarded Young Leader of the Year. The Commercial Interior Projects of the Year were awarded to Perkins+Will for their Under 75,000 s/f interior work for Nixon Peabody, Ted Moudis Associates for their 75,000-150,000 s/f Category project at UM Global’s headquarters, and Structure Tone for their Over 150,000 s/f interior work for White & Case.
Other nominees included Structure Tone’s interior for Silicon Valley Bank, Unispace’s interior for Double Verify, Corgan’s interior for the Bustle office, Design Republic’s interior for Take-Two Interactive, M Moser Associates’ interior for LinkedIn, Ted Moudis Associates’ interior for Mediabrands and Perkins+Will’s interior for Unilever Marketplace.
As a premier CRE organization, these nominees are just a portion of CoreNet NYC’s powerful membership base. CoreNet NYC Chapter Chair Barry Alton commented, “We have approximately 1,200 members and over 200 volunteers who all deserve recognition. We were pleased to honor some of our many committed volunteers who work hard to strengthen the CoreNet NYC Chapter throughout the year.”
