First job outside of real estate: I've always worked in real estate in some capacity.
First job in real estate or allied field: I graduated from college in May 1999, and began working on June 1 at a boutique real estate firm, The P.G. Williamson Group. Working at a small firm before going to Cushman & Wakefield was a great experience. You have to do everything on your own, from identifying new businesses to securing it, negotiating and closing. It gave me the knowledge and experience to be able to excel in all parts of deal making.
What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? My focus is on my clients, and making sure I provide them with quality real estate services. For the future, I intend to continue to grow my business and plan to stay involved with important organizations such as the YMWREA and REBNY.
Favorite movie: "Raging Bull." In fact, I have a framed photograph of DeNiro playing Jack LaMotta in my office.
