Dan Abrams’ Law & Crime Network doubles size of office space

New York, NY Abrams Media, which includes the leading true-crime and live trial network Law&Crime, announces a 6,300 s/f expansion of its Herald Square office space, bringing its total footprint to nearly 14,000 s/f. The company–founded by ABC chief legal analyst and NewsNation host Dan Abrams–cites rapidly evolving digital and television production needs as the impetus for the newly acquired square footage. Recently, Law&Crime has led coverage of the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard defamation trial as the number one destination where viewers are watching with approximately one million viewers per hour on the network’s YouTube livestream.

Abrams Media moved to an office in its current 1261 Broadway location in 2013, and this expansion now allows the media company use of an entire floor of the 11-story building between West 31st and West 32nd St's.

“Although it may seem counterintuitive to be expanding office space at a time when most companies are reducing their office presence, we have growing in-person production needs that require facilities for studios, editing bays, and more,” said Andrew Eisbrouch, COO of Abrams Media.

Key plans for the expanded office include the buildout of additional studios, control centers, as well as more operational space for in-house productions. The deal was handled directly between company executives and property management, and therefore involved no brokers.

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking

Tri-state capital migrates nationally amid regulation pressure - by Reese Weaver

New York tri-state multifamily investors are increasingly reallocating capital to less-regulated markets across the U.S. as rent control and legislative risk erode returns at home. With over 60% of New York City’s rental housing stock classified as rent-stabilized, the traditional value-add model — buying under-performing buildings,
