CREW New York names 2025 Board of Directors

New York, NY CREW New York has named their 2025 Board of Directors. CREW NY welcomes Alana Sliwinski, Joy Brigis, Jennifer Stewart, Nathalia Bernardo, Katie Wheeler, Maxinne Leighton, and Jessica Mustafa to the board. These professionals bring experience and knowledge that will help guide the association as it continues to evolve and grow.

CREW New York’s appointed 2025 Board of Directors includes:

• President-elect, Alana Sliwinski, counsel, Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders brings over a decade of experience in commercial real estate law, with extensive experience guiding her clients through the complexities of the real estate landscape. She has been a CREW New York member for over a decade, holding multiple leadership positions within the association and is a steadfast proponent for promoting women in the industry.

• Secretary, Joy Brigis, senior manager, RSM US, has 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry including leadership positions that make her an impactful selection for CREW New York’s board.

• Board director, Jennifer Stewart, managing director at IBM, has over 25 years of industry experience. Stewart brings a keen understanding of the New York City commercial real estate landscape and a proven track record of promoting women within the field.

• Board director, Nathalia Bernardo, real estate attorney, Rockwood Capital, joins the board with nearly 20 years of real estate law experience and over 10 years as a CREW New York member. Her significant expertise will help to guide the association into the future.

• Board director, Maxinne Leighton, director of marketing and business development, JB&B, has been in the real estate industry for 25 years including leadership roles that will give her a unique perspective on CREW New York’s strategic endeavors.

• Board director, Jessica Mustafa, director, Deutsche Bank, brings over 18 years of experience advising clients on all facets of the commercial real estate industry and has played an active role in supporting women within her company.

• Board director, Katie Wheeler, associate, Related Companies, joins the board with an innovative mindset and significant experience navigating the real estate market with both non-profit and for-profit organizations.

The newly elected board will join current members:

• 2025 president, Julie Reimann, commercial portfolio relationship manager, The Durst Organization

• Immediate past president, Anuska Amparo, vice president, Kensington Vanguard National Land Services

• Treasurer, Stella Schirripa, vice president, J.P. Morgan Chase

• Board director, Liz Mahoney, senior vice president, Lender Consulting Services

• Board director, Leah Blackman, senior vice president, CM&B

• Board director, Kasey Pace, vice president, Zubatkin Owner Representation

• Board director, Farrah Forbes, property manager, Kimco Realty

The incoming board members will join CREW New York’s strategic planning sessions in the fall before assuming their roles in January of 2025.
