Consolo and Aquino of Pru. Douglas Elliman host brokers event Apr. 1

The retail leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive vice president of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Leasing, Marketing and Sales Division is holding the second of its "brokers-only" bashes on April 1st, 6-8 p.m., at a three-level showroom space in the Decoration & Design (D&D) Building, 222 East 59th St. The spring festivities will include two hours of non-stop networking, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and live music. "Our last event attracted more than 200 brokers who benefited from an insider's view at what our distinct spaces could do for their clients," said Consolo. "In this case, we are celebrating spring in a wholly unique space. For the home decorating and design trades, the D&D Building is the only place to be!" The 12,220-square-foot three-level showroom space is being marketed exclusively to the design trade. The unusual offering is highlighted by approximately 30 feet of frontage on East 59th Street between Third and Second Avenues and a spectacular 40-foot high ground level atrium entranceway, along with approximately 2,675 square feet at ground level; 2,475 square feet at mezzanine level; and 7,070 square feet at the second level. In addition, the second level boasts 1,000 square feet of outdoor terrace. With more than 500,000 design professionals visiting the building's120 showrooms every year, the value to its illustrious tenants is unparalleled. Moreover, star-chef Charlie Palmer's Astra, his exclusive café in the building, has provided cuisine for tenants and private parties since 1997.   "April is about springtime and new beginnings," added Mr. Aquino. "It's a great time to have a party and refresh everyone's recollection of the space, not to mention their spirits."
