Colliers promoted Kennedy to senior managing director, brokerage services

New York, NY Colliers International has promoted Robert Kennedy to senior managing director, brokerage services. Previously he was a managing director. Since joining Colliers’ New York office in 2009, Kennedy has specialized on corporate services and the national representation of tenants, with a focus on the New York Metropolitan area. As a real estate advisor, Kennedy assists his clients in the development and implementation of strategic plans for their real estate portfolios. Throughout his career he has completed more than 1.5 million square feet of transactions for a wide array of clients, from early stage start-ups to publicly traded financial services firms. Some recent transactions include a 26,000 s/f lease at 375 Park Ave. on behalf of Fiera Capital for its U.S. headquarters and a 43,000 s/f lease at 300 Park Avenue South for FanDuel. “Robert is one of the hardest-working members of our commercial brokerage team with a firm grasp on arranging New York City leases as a strategic business decision for national tenants,” said Kim Brennan, COO for Colliers International’s Tri-State Region. “He is also a valued member of our New York Accelerate Program, where he serves on the board of advisors and actively helps to train and manage up-and-coming brokers. We congratulate Robert on this much-deserved promotion.” In 2015 Kennedy received the Everest Award, which recognizes the top Colliers professionals in Brokerage, Valuation and Corporate Solutions across the Americas region. Kennedy earned his Bachelor’s in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the University of Connecticut Alumni Association, and has devoted time to many charitable organizations.
