CBIZ corporate recovery services hires Varsalone to expand services in New England

CBIZ, Inc. has hired Jeffrey Varsalone as a managing director in the CBIZ Corporate Recovery Services practice, providing distressed company, creditor and investor transactional and advisory services. Varsalone will be based in CBIZ's Boston office, expanding Corporate Recovery Services into New England. "Jeff's extensive experience in company-side distressed transactions is an exciting expansion of our growing practice," said Esther DuVal, managing director and practice leader of CBIZ Corporate Recovery Services. "He provides a greater opportunity for us to further expand our service offerings and our presence in the New England market. Jeff's experience will be a great resource for our clients." Varsalone comes to CBIZ with more than 15 years of restructuring experience, including turnaround, workouts and representation of the various parties in distressed markets. Varsalone's industry specialties include retail, construction, consumer products, media, manufacturing, real estate, restaurants, technology and transportation. Varsalone received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from St. John's University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Boston College. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.
