LERA promotes Kwan, Han and Hopple; Snyder joins the firm

According to Leslie E. Robertson Associates (LERA), Wing-Pin Kwan, P.E., Ph.D. has been named a partner of the firm and Sangho Han, PE (US/Korea), LEED AP and Patrick Hopple, P.E. have been named senior associates. Carrie Snyder has also been hired as director of marketing for the firm. As a new partner with LERA, Kwan has also relocated from New York to the Shanghai office and serves as the director of LERA Shanghai. Kwan has extensive project experience in China and other parts of the world, including serving as the project manager for the 492 m Shanghai World Financial Center. Han is a project manager with over 8 years of experience at LERA. Prior to joining LERA, Han worked as a structural engineer in Korea for over 5 years. His recent project experience includes Lotte Jamsil Tower, Seoul, Korea, World Trade Center - Tower 4, New York City, NY, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Azersu New Office Tower, Baku, Azerbaijan. Hopple is a project manager at LERA with over 8 years of experience. His recent project experience includes State University of New York Health Science Center, School of Public Health, New Academic Building, Brooklyn, NY, Broad Art Museum, Los Angeles, CA, Public Farm 1, New York, NY, and the Staten Island Courthouse. Snyder will be leading the firm's international and national business development and marketing efforts. The firm's project portfolio includes residential towers, mixed-use developments, offices, government buildings, and healthcare, cultural, and educational facilities. Snyder will work to promote LERA's long tradition of innovative design and advances in technology.
