Antebi of GFI brokers $2.16 million sale of 925 St. Marks Avenue, Brooklyn

GFI Realty Services Inc., has completed the sale of 925 St. Marks Ave., a listing in the Crown Heights section, for $2.16 million, which translates 8.8 times the rent roll. The four-story walk-up apartment building consists of 20 residential units, totaling 19,120 s/f. Shlomo Antebi, a director at GFI, represented the seller and buyer. "This was the first sale in 26 years for this property. It is a very well maintained building with large one and two bedroom units," said Antebi. "The buyer is excited about the purchase of this 50 footer in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn because buildings like this are rarely on the market. He sees great potential in Crown Heights, a neighborhood that is continually improving. He intends to keep it as a long term investment and rental property." This multifamily apartment building was built in the early 1900's and is located in close proximity to the Brooklyn Children's Museum, Paul Robeson High School and several local playgrounds.
