Builders Exchange is a trade association that represents commercial building contractors. We have over 700 members in the Rochester MSA and provide a range of services including: information and news, training, labor relations and advocacy. We are growing by adding new associations to work with. We currently manage six trade associations and a new coalition called Builders Exchange Building a Better Rochester. Hobbies: Tennis, squash, reading and teaching the kids new things! Favorite book: "Watership Down" Favorite movie: "The Lord of the Rings" Persons you admire most (outside of family): Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan and Vaclav Havel Keys to success: Running associations and representing members in government relations and labor relations, requires a clear vision, high level of integrity and being able to allow others to take credit for wins, even though they have not earned it. If you had to choose another vocation what would it be? I would be running a tech start-up and/or be involved in venture capital.
