The 53-story, 378-residence tower located in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn will include 234 rental apartments, 144 condominiums and a full-suite of luxurious on-site amenities. At 590 feet, 388 Bridge Street is Brooklyn's tallest residential building. Designed by SLCE, the all-glass building, enhanced by a lighted crown, will allow residents to enjoy sweeping views of Manhattan, Brooklyn and the New York Harbor. "388 Bridge Street offers renters the opportunity to live in apartments that feature luxurious and elegant finishes, upgraded appliances and spacious layouts in Downtown Brooklyn," said Gregg Wolpert, co-president of the Stahl Organization. "The tower is one of the premier residential buildings in New York City and will represent a new era in Brooklyn living, while serving as the crown jewel of the borough's rapidly evolving skyline." The rentals at 388 Bridge Street will be ready for occupancy in February 2014. The tower includes rentals on floors seven through thirty-one that range in size from 490 s/f to 1,166 s/f and features a mix of layouts including studios to two-bedroom apartments. Bathrooms feature vertical-stacked tiles, white quartz sink decks, ceramic sinks and polished chrome faucets. Rental prices range from $2,540 per-month for a lower floor studio to $6,290 per-month for an upper floor two-bedroom. All residents at 388 Bridge Street will enjoy a full suite of amenities, highlighted by a rooftop viewing terrace with grilling stations, allowing every resident the ability to experience the building's incredible views. At night, the building's crown will be lit by power supplied from the building's two wind turbines. In addition, the building's 2,862 s/f indoor amenity space on the fifth floor boasts a lounge and party room with kitchen pantry, children's playroom, media/screening room and fitness center. The 4,950 s/f outdoor terrace will feature a barbeque grilling area, children's playground and ipe-wood deck for dining and lounging. Additional amenities at the full-service building include doorman, 24-hour concierge, bike storage, pet spa, laundry room with oversized machines for large items and a 24/7 attended parking garage on-site. The entire building will benefit from FujiTec elevators that rise 1,000 feet-per-minute, giving 388 Bridge Street the distinction of having the fastest elevators in Brooklyn. In addition, the building will feature a natural gas-fired emergency electrical generator and a live-in super. "We are proud to have had the opportunity to work with the Stahl team to bring such an iconic building to life," said William Ross, director of development marketing at Halstead Property Development Marketing. "388 Bridge offers the most incredible views as the tallest building in Brooklyn, and future residents will be drawn to its superb amenity package, excellent finishes, and wide range of home sizes and layouts. We believe the leasing process here will be swift." 388 Bridge Street's ground retail floors include 10,500 square feet of retail space as well as a two-story, 13,376-square-foot Manhattan Athletic Club that will be open to residents and others by membership only. 388 Bridge is located in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, steps away from 12 subway lines and the Long Island Railroad.
