2026 Women in Commercial Real Estate: Natalie Melkonian, Outsource Consultants, Inc.

Natalie Melkonian
Proposal Manager
Outsource Consultants, Inc.

What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why?

It’s difficult to choose one project because what I enjoy most about my role at Outsource Consultants, Inc. is the variety of work we support. I’m especially proud to help healthcare institutions like Mount Sinai and NYU Langone with renovations and expansions that enhance patient care. I also enjoy working with luxury brands such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Loro Piana and Tiffany & Co. Seeing the creativity behind their boutiques is truly exciting. Whether it’s a major institution, global brand or personal renovation every project represents someone’s vision coming to life.

What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career?

The leadership lesson that has made the greatest impact on my career is the importance of being a trusted resource for clients and colleagues. Every building and scope of work presents unique challenges, especially within NYC’s complex regulatory agencies. Working with developers, owners, architects, engineers, contractors and building managers has reinforced the importance of communication, collaboration and continued learning. After 14 years in the industry, I can honestly say that the learning never stops and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about this profession.
