What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community?

One project I’m most proud of is the Dealertrack headquarters in New Hyde Park, NY. This fast-track, built-to-suit lease was completed in just three weeks, right before COVID hit. It was the first of its kind on Long Island, created in partnership with Tritec Real Estate. The project delivered a cutting-edge workspace for Dealertrack while contributing to the local economy, setting a new standard for commercial development in the region.

Who or what has inspired you most in your career, and what advice would you share with the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry?

The person who has inspired me most in my career is our late partner, Louis Soloway. He was not only a mentor but also a guiding force who taught me the importance of asking questions and not being afraid to say, “I don’t know.” Louis encouraged me to embrace learning as a lifelong process and to approach challenges with confidence, knowing that curiosity is a strength. My advice to the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry is to never shy away from seeking knowledge and to always trust in your ability to grow, learn, and lead.

What’s your favorite way to recharge or get inspired outside of work?

My Peloton reading spending time with family and traveling.

Do you have a hidden talent or a surprising fact about yourself that most people wouldn’t know?

I played Violin for 16 years!
