What real estate associations or organizations are you a member of? REBNY

How have you navigated obstacles to achieve success in your career? I’ve always been the end-game design thinker. Thinking in reverse from a goal or backwards from a distant dream allows me to clearly see the steps that our teams at Ideal Properties Group need to take in order to succeed in persisting past all saturation points. I also have this unwavering belief in the strength of the Brooklyn market and in conjunction with my reverse projections I believe Brooklyn will continue to be one of the most thriving real estate hotbeds in the country.

How do you play your strengths to your advantage in your career? I am an avid multi-tasker, quick to take action, no matter how challenging, once the results of analysis are in. I’ve never been too good at hesitation. I guess it also helps that I’ve always delegated back-seat importance to sleeping. Sure, we are all told, over and over again, that we need eight glasses of water a day, and at least six hours of restorative me-time a night - in order to function well. I like water, but I find the same six hours an excellent time for (maybe not so restorative but for me way more calming) engagement in strategic thinking and critical analysis.

What trends are you seeing so far this year? The Brownstone and North Brooklyn markets continue to see an increase in demand with a decrease in supply. People are looking for modern amenities when buying their homes; however, the ultra-luxury market has seen a temporary cooling down. Our ‘sweet spot’ townhouse and condo market in the borough; nevertheless, continues to flourish.

What do you do for fun? I spend time with my partner in our beloved borough, enjoying quality time with my five-year-old daughter and her Pekingese, Pumpkin Pie.
