What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2016?

2016 was a great year for me personally as I was able to close a personal best in total loan volume with close to $400 million in closings.

One notable transaction was a $64 million deal at 1 Prospect Park West for one of our clients that we had been working on since 2014.

The loan was about to close two years ago before it was tied up in a series of highly publicized and complex litigation between the seller, the tenants in the building and the purchasers.

After a number of starts and stops we were finally able to execute on the transaction with the original lender we had lined up to close it with in 2014.
