How did you get your start in real estate?

A client was involved in a real estate matter that evolved into litigation in 2010 and asked me to assist. I was able to get the client the results they wanted, and have been passionate about working on real estate litigation matters ever since.

What real estate associations or organizations are you a member of?

Westchester Women’s Bar Association

What recent project or transaction are you most proud of?

I was asked to jump in as a substitute counsel in a hotly contested commercial real estate litigation matter.

My client was attempting to improve his property according to a potential tenant’s specifications and the abutting neighbor filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction and damages based on an alleged SEQRA violation. I was able to implement an aggressive litigation strategy affirmatively challenging the plaintiff, as opposed to simply defending the case.

In six months, I helped the client settle the lawsuit without paying any damages, and most importantly, saved the property lease deal with the incoming tenant.

This resolution was swift and it was exactly what my client needed.
