06-11-2014 - Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City to host 15th Annual Real Estate Casino Jazz Night

New York City's top real estate and finance leaders will go all-in for mentoring on June 11th at the 15th Annual Casino Jazz Night at Cipriani 42nd. The event benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City (BBBS of NYC), the nation's first and New York's largest youth mentoring organization. This year, the real estate community will join BBBS of NYC in honoring Jody Durst, president of The Durst Organization, for his leadership and contributions to his community. A must-attend event among some of the biggest names in the real estate industry, Casino Jazz Night is expected to raise over $1 million for BBBS of NYC's mentoring programs, which currently serve more than 3,600 young people across the five boroughs each year. Throughout the evening, attendees will take their chances with casino games including craps, blackjack, poker and roulette. The event will also feature a silent auction, as well as signature cocktails and gourmet Cipriani cuisine. This year's Casino Jazz Night is chaired by Steven M. Durels, executive vice president of SL Green Realty Corp.; Dennis Friedrich, CEO of Brookfield Office Properties; Paul N. Glickman, vice chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle; Adam R. Goldenberg, managing director of Equity Office Properties; Anthony Orso, CEO of Cantor Commercial Real Estate; and Glen Weiss, executive vice president and director of leasing at Vornado Realty Trust.
