Colliers International has arranged a 24,000 s/f renewal at 123 William St. for law firm McAloon & Friedman, PC, extending its lease for the entire 24th and 25th floors. The building is owned by East End Capital Partners, LLC.
"McAloon & Friedman renewed its lease at 123 William St. because its space is attractive and highly efficient and the building offers convenient access to the various courts that relate to its litigation practice," said Marvin Rosenberg, a senior managing director with Colliers, who along with executive managing director Ted Rotante arranged the lease on behalf of the tenant. Brad Gerla and Jonathan Cope, of CBRE, represented the landlord in the renewal.
Rosenberg, who also represented the law firm when it signed its initial lease in the building in 2003, noted that the new ownership is undertaking a major capital improvement program, including elevator upgrades and a recently renovated lobby, which will make the building an even more comfortable and attractive place to work.
McAloon & Friedman is recognized as one of the leading law firms in medical defense work. Its clients include well-known institutions like Bellevue Hospital, Beth Israel Medical Center, Lenox Hill, Montefiore, New York-Presbyterian, NYC Health & Hospitals, NYU Langone, North Shore LIJ, Mt. Sinai, and Continuum Health. The firm has occupied space in the building since 2003.
