Name & Title:  Bill McGuire

Company Name: Concrete Washout Systems

What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2016?

Today’s builders are becoming more aware of their responsibility when it pertains to concrete washout removal and recycling on construction sites. We’ve proud to provide them with a safe, environmentally conscious, and cost effectives alternative to the old worksite concrete washouts sites. We’ve become the industry standard.

What project, transaction, market trend or product had the greatest impact on your industry this year?

We’re seeing a lot more public advocacy groups raising awareness about the importance how to best address water infrastructure issues. We just participated as a sponsor in the second annual Jersey Water Works Conference that brought together more than 300 state and local decision-makers, practitioners and stakeholders to amplify the importance of addressing New Jersey’s water infrastructure, explore innovative solutions and celebrate the Jersey Water Works collaborative as an effective, comprehensive approach to achieving statewide impact.

How will you be supercharging your productivity in 2017?

Continue to add more equipment and staff. We’ve had steady growth over the past 11 years serving the NYC metro area. We started with a few containers and need more every year–don’t see that changing.

What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2017?

We’re seeing that citizens are taking more of an active role in the process on a grassroots level. We’ll continue to support local environmental groups such as the Hackensack River Keeper and New Jersey Highlands Coalition as well the industry associations like the U.S. Green Building Council who are all doing such great work in education, advocacy, and public awareness.
