Ariel Property Advisors hosts Coffee and Cap Rates event

Manhattan, NY Ariel Property Advisors (Ariel) presented its mid-year Coffee and Cap Rates event on July 31st, sharing the latest trends in investment sales market and capital services in New York City. The event was hosted by TD Bank.

Over 200 NYC real estate professionals attended this networking breakfast held at TD Bank’s conference center at One Vanderbilt across from Grand Central Terminal. The theme of the latest Coffee and Cap Rates event was “Visions for Future Growth in NYC Commercial Real Estate” and featured a panel of industry professionals sharing their perspectives on the commercial real estate investment and development markets, including an exploration of New York State’s recently approved housing policy.

Shimon Shkury, president and founder of Ariel Property Advisors moderated the panel and kicked off the event with a presentation discussing the performance of the New York City investment sales market in 1H 2024 as well as key findings from the firm’s recently completed half-year reports.

The three industry expert panelists included Ralph Bumbaca, NYC market president, TD Bank; Christopher Albanese, president, Albanese Organization; and Jasper Wu, vice president, ZD Jasper. Each provided their take on the state of NYC commercial real estate.

As with previous Coffee & Cap Rates, Ariel will be donating all proceeds to Legal Outreach, a nonprofit that helps young people from underserved New York communities gain admission to the country’s most competitive colleges and universities.

The Coffee & Cap Rates series is a semi-annual program, and the next event will take place in February 2025.
