Zetlin & De Chiara partners receive top honors

According to Zetlin & De Chiara, Best Lawyers of America has named Michael Zetlin the 2011 New York Construction Lawyer of the Year, and recognized both founding partners Michael De Chiara and Michael Zetlin as Best Lawyers in Construction Law. "Both Michael De Chiara and I are grateful for this honor. To know that we have earned the respect of our esteemed peers is a great achievement - to keep that respect is a challenge our firm always strives to meet," said Zetlin. "Our achievements are derived from adhering to a simple core principal - combining legal talent with unwavering dedication to the construction industry." De Chiara agreed, saying, "Since opening this firm two decades ago, we have endeavored to provide the highest quality legal services for our clients, and it is always rewarding when the community recognizes our efforts. Although Michael Zetlin and I received this recognition, I view this as a firm accomplishment and a credit to the many quality lawyers at Zetlin & De Chiara." The honors continued when Super Lawyers Magazine named De Chiara, Zetlin, Raymond Mellon and Carol Patterson as four of the top construction litigation attorneys in New York, and James Terry as a leading attorney in construction/surety law. Only five percent of all lawyers in New York are recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine.
