Ronkonkoma, NY Marie Zere, president and CEO of Zere Real Estate Services received the “Business Woman of the Year” award for her contributions to the business community and corporations for over 42 years. Zere, who grew up in Queens, is recognized for being a trailblazing pioneer and innovator in commercial brokerage real estate throughout New York State.
“In business, you need foresight and creativity. My brokerage skills have enabled thousands of jobs to remain in our region. Success is hard work and the right conditions. Nothing comes easy. I have promoted strong economic development environments since 1980, when I first put the key in the door of my office in Great Neck, Nassau County, Long Island, ” said Zere.
The Queens Village Republican Club, one of the oldest Republican clubs in the nation, founded in 1885, held its 147th Anniversary Lincoln Dinner at Antun’s, in Queens, on March 20th. The event was attended by residents, business leaders, politicians and luminaries that traveled far and wide to attend this event.
