Manhattan, NY CBRE completed a retail lease transaction at the newly renovated 1165 Broadway. Joe & the Juice, an international chain of juice bars and coffee shops, inked an 858 s/f lease on the ground floor of the office property located in the NoMad neighborhood. Joe & the Juice plans to open this summer.
The CBRE team of Amira Yunis, Anthony Stanford, Henry Rossignol and Elliot Ferris represented the building owner David Haddad and acted on behalf of Joe & the Juice in the lease negotiations.
“1165 Broadway was the ideal location for Joe & the Juice’s national expansion plans in NYC, boasting a highly visible retail space in one of the city’s most vibrant corridors with pedestrian traffic seven days a week,” said Yunis. “In addition to the newly renovated retail space, the juice bar will benefit from the neighborhood’s incredible growth over the past few years and its close proximity to several hotels, businesses and shopping destinations.”
What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
